Pinkmint Night Sakura crystal infused reed diffuser at The Moonta Collective

It's been a big unpacking week. Here's what's landed in the shop.

Pinkmint reed diffusers

We've got four new diffusers from Pinkmint, all designed and made in Australia. They are crystal infused, and they all work the same way: pop the reeds in, flip them every so often and the scent fills the room. No flame needed.

  • Night Sakura is cherry blossom and tea. Soft, calm and a good one for a bedroom.
  • Blooming Solo is mandarin and green basil. Fresh and herby rather than sweet, so it suits a kitchen or bathroom, or anyone who doesn't love florals.
  • Tipsy Kiss is jasmine with a hint of sweetness. Light and pretty.
  • Pajama Party is pink peony and powdery musk. It smells a bit like a dressing table, in the best way.

They're $49.95 each, and we've only got a couple of each scent, so come in for a sniff sooner rather than later.

OOLUX, made in South Australia

OOLUX is a new brand for us and one I'm really happy to have in the shop. They make skincare using olive oil from their family grove at Myponga Beach, in small handmade batches.

What I like is how short the ingredient lists are. The lip conditioner is literally olive oil and beeswax. The calendula face balm has four ingredients, including calendula flowers they grow in their own garden.

A lot of the range is fragrance-free, which makes it a great option for sensitive skin, or for anyone who finds scented products too much. Here's what we've got:

You can find more local makers on our South Australian Makers page.

Wild Emery minis (hello, stocking fillers)

Wild Emery handmake everything in small batches in Beechworth, Victoria, and it's all vegan and cruelty-free. This delivery was basically a Christmas stocking in a box.

Mini bath bombs, $7.50. About 70g each, with sprinkles on top. The scents are Lavender Moon, Red Berry Jam, Pink Peach Jelly, Tropical Pop and Cozy Chamomile. Great for kids, party bags, or a grown-up who wants a bath without making a whole thing of it.

Lip balms, $9.95. They come in a cardboard tube that's about twice the size of a normal one. There are tinted versions in Cherry, Strawberry and Peach, and natural versions in Sweet Grapefruit, Watermelon Blossom and Raspberry Fields.

Sea star konjac sponges, $11.95. Plant-based, biodegradable bath sponges shaped like starfish, in pink, yellow and blue. Very cute next to a mini bath bomb.

Put a bath bomb, a lip balm and a sponge together and you've got a stocking sorted for under $30.

Everything is in store now and online. As always, pop in and have a look.
