I’m Jacqui, the co-founder of Unseasoned Greetings, a proudly South Aussie card brand that celebrates all the quirks and culture that make our state unique. When Unseasoned Greetings was first stocked at The Moonta Collective (under its original owner), it felt like a dream come true. So when the business came up for sale, and I saw that Instagram post, I just knew — this was meant to be mine.

From Adelaide to the Coast

A few years ago, my husband and I swapped city life in Adelaide for a more grounded, beachside life on the Copper Coast with our two young boys. My family has had a shack here for more than 25 years, so Moonta has always been part of my story. Making the move was less about starting fresh and more about coming home.

What Inspires Us

The Moonta Collective is built on everything I love most: creativity, connection, community and South Australian pride. It’s a space where locals, shack owners and travellers can discover things they love — not just things they need.

Milestones & Moments

One of my proudest moments? A Unseasoned Greetings card shared on The Moonta Collective’s social media that went viral, reaching more than 500,000 people and striking a deep chord with South Aussies everywhere. That moment proved just how powerful humour, heart and a sense of belonging can be.

Of course, there have been challenges too — especially pushing through imposter syndrome, learning to back myself, and stepping fully into the role of business owner and community voice.
