Behind it all is Tiarni — maker, night-shift worker and the heart of Fallow & Fox. She lives in the south-east of South Australia, where she somehow manages to handcraft every diffuser and candle in small batches and work full-time shifts at the local paper mill (yep, the one that makes Kleenex toilet paper and Viva paper towel — who would’ve guessed?).

How it all began

In 2021, Tiarni bought herself a candle-making kit. It was, in her words, a total disaster — melted wax everywhere. But she loved it. That one messy experiment turned into late nights researching, testing and perfecting. What started as a creative hobby quietly grew into a brand now stocked in beautiful stores right across Australia (including ours). She still pinches herself every time she spots her work “out in the wild”.
